Commitment to Transparency and Accountability
As a state-quasi entity, the Quonset Development Corporation (QDC) is committed to providing the public with greater transparency and accountability. The Public Notices page is another resource providing important updates on upcoming QDC Board meetings, subcommittee meetings, upcoming events, and important information about a Request for Proposals (RFP) or bid opportunities offered by the QDC.
Proposed rules and regulations
The QDC, in accordance with the Administrative Procedures Act, as amended, may propose new or amended rules as needed. A current list of our Rulemaking Agenda can be found on the RSS feed from the Rhode Island Secretary of State's Proposed Rules and Regulations.
Quonset Development Corporation's current and proposed rules can be found on the RI Code of Regulations.
Public Notice
On March 8th 2018, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers held a public meeting about cleanup of a former defense site at QDC. The meeting covered site inspection and thorough contaminant removal plans. Click here for the full presentation.
