Gov. Raimondo says more than 178,000 automobiles imported to the Port of Davisville in 2014

PROVIDENCE, Rhode Island — Rhode Island Gov. Gina Raimondo says the Port of Davisville had another record-breaking year in 2014 for automobile imports.

Raimondo announced Wednesday that more than 178,000 automobiles were imported at the port in the Quonset Business Park last year, with another 34,000 arriving by rail and 3,000 by truck. She says it's the fifth consecutive record-breaking year for automobile imports at the port.
